The SUNY Center for Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)
is pleased to announce that its fourth annual conference, Moving from Me
to We: Breaking Boundaries and Building Bridges with Globally Networked
Learning Partnerships, will be held June 7-8, at the SUNY Global Center
in New York City. We invite proposals for presentations that broadly
support this year's conference themes; including individual
presentations, panels, mini-workshops, or alternative innovative formats
(including those utilizing videoconferencing and other technologies).
Joint proposals from cross-department and/or inter-institutional teams,
those which include substantial audience participation, or which bring
in student perspectives are particularly encouraged. This year's
conference is being held June 7-8, at the SUNY Global Center in New York
City.

COIL's annual conference gathers faculty, international educators,
instructional technologists, and administrators from around the world to
share experiences and best practices for developing globally networked
learning initiatives. The SUNY COIL Center is a leader in the emerging
field of Globally Networked Learning (GNL); a teaching and learning
methodology which provides innovative cost-effective
internationalization strategies. GNL programs foster faculty and student
exchange with peers abroad through co-taught multicultural online and
blended learning environments that emphasize experiential collaboration.

2012 COIL Conference Themes:
- Globally Networked Classrooms as Portals to Increased Study Abroad
Participation
- Role of GNL in Integrating Intercultural or Global Dimensions into the
