Dear Marcin,

I am part of the Open Culture Data initiative in the Netherlands, which was set up by the Dutch Heritage Innovators Network and Hack de Overheid, and which is supported byCreative Commons Netherlands andthe mass digitisation project Images for the Future.

Open Cultuur Data supports the cultural heritage sector in the release of culture data in the following way:
	* encourage making more open culture data available
	* collecting culture data sets in a national catalogue
	* collecting and sharing knowledge and experience with open culture data
	* encouraging the making of new applications based on open culture data
Open Cultuur Data achieves this through the following activities:
	* workshops, presentations and publications on open culture data
	* cultural institutions to open culture datasets
	* organising a masterclass on open data for cultural heritage institutions
	* organising a competition with special awards for applications made with open culture data
You can find out more about the initiative on our website [1] and on three posts we wrote for the OpenGLAM blog [2].

All best,

Subject: [Air-L] users and GLAM institutions on the Web

Dear all,

To prepare my research I'am trying to build a list of publications,
case studies and theoretical conceptions connected with the problem of
relations and collaboration (or maybe competition) between
institutions and users/citizens, mainly in the context of GLAM
(Galleries, Libraries, Archives & Museums) and with a basic background
on the Web. So not only GLAM WikiProject, but also maybe any exemples
of "hacking" institutional heritage resources or building an informal
communities around them.

Thank you for any suggestion,

Marcin Wilkowski
