[Air-L] PhD studentships in informatics at Edinburgh Napier

Two fully funded PhD studentships available within the Institute for Informatics and Digital Innovation, to start early 2013

One studentship will be offered to a student interested in completing research within any Centre of IIDI.
Research centres include the Centre for Social Informatics: http://www.csi.napier.ac.uk/ (where I'm based)

The second studentship is specific to the Centre for Emergent Computing: http://www.cec.napier.ac.uk/. For this studentship, the successful candidate will be expected to work in the area of bio-inspired computing,  applied to (but not limited to), for instance,  optimisation, self-organising systems, games.

Applications for both places are due by Monday 5th November and the successful candidates are expected to take up their doctoral studies in early 2013.
