Tablets and other mobile devices are increasingly being used to facilitate
student learning; however, each day these devices get one step closer to
becoming outdated and contributing to the ever expanding e-waste stream.

Kristi Apostel and I are collecting information to see what plans schools
and universities have in place for outdated mobile devices. We will be
presenting our findings in the session "Futures for Composition and
Communication: Opening Research and Teaching to Issues of E-Waste and
E-Justice" at the Conference of College Composition and Communication,
Indianapolis, in March.

Please fill out this quick survey if you have past, current, or future
experiences with mobile devices in education:

Thank you,

Shawn
