It is hosted by the International Social Science Council (ISSC) and the Canadian Social Sciences & Humanities Research Council (SSHRC). The theme of the Forum is ‘social transformations and the digital age’. There are two main sub-themes – one to examine what digital technologies mean for social, political life (everything from security, dating, new forms of work, etc.) and another about what digital technologies mean for the social sciences, humanities and research practices more generally.
