Dear all,

We are adding a lectureship to our growing programme of teaching and research in digital cultures. It should be highly relevant to folk on this list and we are interested in international candidates. The post has some preferences (gaming studies and internet in developing economies) but those are preferences rather than requirements.

The successful applicant may have expertise in any area of digital culture, but applicants with an interest in gaming studies or the internet in newly industrialising countries (particularly China, but also Brazil, India or Russia) will be particularly welcome. The successful applicant must show an ability to contribute to the Research Excellence Framework submission, and to contribute to the international excellence of the two departments' research and teaching.

Salary	The appointment will be made, dependent on relevant qualifications, within the Grade 6 or 7 scale, currently £31,331 to £45,941, per annum plus £2,323 per annum London Allowance.
