I'm more than a little bit dismayed that all of the (public) responses 
to Terri's very broad questions about AoIR have focused entirely on the 
conference.  Is that some quirk or oddity perhaps related to the timing 
of the questions and other recent posts related to the conference?  Or 
is this evidence that for many people the conference *is* AoIR?  I hope 
the former and not the latter as that would be quite limiting and very 
disappointing for those of us who rarely or never are able to attend the 
conference.
