computer science, physics, social network analysis, statistics and
sociology, under various names like multilayer, multiplex,
multidimensional, multimodal networks and labeled graphs.

The Symposium on Multiple Network Modeling, Analysis and Mining, that
will be held as a satellite event of the NetSci conference (the
primary conference on Network Science), will provide a detailed view
over some recent results and open problems in this field, presented by
leading experts, and will consitute a starting point for the emergence
of an interdisciplinary community focused on the study of multiple
networks.

Participation is free, including lunch and coffee-breaks (limited
