The *Digital Discrimination and Social Networks International Conference,
(Barcelona 13th and 14th March 2014)* will be an excellent opportunity to
present your projects or research on relevant experiences and/or
reflections about issues such as:

-        veiled discrimination online

-        youths and social network sites (sns)

-        education and the internet

-        digital activism

-        stereotypes and online media

-        initiatives and self organized groups on sns

-        youngsters, active or passive internet users?

-        hate crimes, cyber bullying, cyber gossip

-        virtual identities, image construction and appearance in a digital
age

-        digital policies and best practices

-        local governments use of online services and sns: problems and
advantages

-        inclusion or exclusion and internet access

-        the power of social media and its dangers

-        legal issues, observatories, help lines




We invite you to email us your abstract (see instructions here:

and experiences. Submission deadline is the *15th of November 2013*.



There will be two presentation modalities: *oral **presentations
or poster presentations*
