In response to the question above, Mary Flannagan and Helen Nissenbaum's Values at Play project. I highly recommend this for a very in-depth and rigorous study of values and ethics in play. Nissenbaum is a major figure in research concerning values/ethics. They are also about to publish a book from this project, which you should keep an eye out for. The project web site is here:
