[Air-L] Research in Verifying User Generated Content - Platforms and Initiatives?

Hello all,

My name is Rebekah Larsen, and I'm a current grad student at the 
University of Cambridge. I'm part of a project researching how to make 
it easier for citizen witnesses of human rights violations to capture 
the attention of journalists and human rights defenders, which includes 
facilitating the verification of social media. More information on the

We are currently surveying the range of online platforms or initiatives 
already being developed with potential for social media verification, 
both commercial (e.g., Storyful) and non-profit (e.g., CheckDesk). If 
anyone can point me towards any other examples, resources, research, 
etc., it would be much appreciated!
