The new special issue 10 (2016) of "online - Heidelberg Journal of 
Religions on the Internet" (edited by Simone Heidbrink and Tobias Knoll) 
is - once more - dedicated to "Religion in Digital Games RESPAWNED"

As the "gamers" among our readers will be very well aware of, "respawn" 
is a constant occurence in most videogames. However, while in-game it 
usually is rather annoying (especially when mobs respawn while the 
player is still out cold) this issue is the - very positive - result of 
some kind of "respawn", namely the submission of many great papers by 
highly innovative authors doing research in the field of digital games 
and gaming. Enjoy!

If you would like to submit a paper for a future issue of Online – 
Heidelberg Journal of Religions on the Internet, feel free to send an 
abstract or full article to online.religion at zegk.uni-heidelberg.de. We 
will gladly consider the publication of further articles related to 
religion and video games as well as any other topic fitting the scope of 
the journal.
