Hi Andrew & AoIR folks ~

I just did a short (winter intersession) course called "Social Media, Big
Data & Health." It's on the open web here:
https://canvas.instructure.com/courses/991391.
>From the main page, you'll want to navigate through the Modules to see all
the readings and films.

The course was designed for MPH students and was taught as an elective in a
School of Public Health, but these students who are (mostly) new to
thinking about surveillance critically - as in Foucault, not as in
epidemiology - so it's pretty basic. I'm planning to re-design it as a
digital sociology course in the not too distant future.

I've licensed the course CC- so you're all welcome to reuse and remix
whatever you find there to make it more suitable for undergrads. I tried to
use OA resources whenever I could.

Kind regards,
~ Jessie
