Internet Addiction: A Chinese Epidemic

Internet addiction is a prevalent topic today, as the endless landscape of virtual content is multiplying at an incredible rate. Though some specialists don’t consider this a real threat in today’s digitized society, others are looking for ways to combat this dependence. 

According to  <http://www.medicaldaily.com/pulse/internet-addiction-electric-heroin-having-devastating-effect-chinas-youth-368560> Medical Daily, in China this perceived epidemic has become such an issue that parents have turned to serious therapies such as Internet addiction boot camps, prohibiting Internet use and enforcing strict rules including diet and exercise routines.
