Greetings AoIR Folks ~

If you presented your research at the American Sociology Association
2016 Annual Meeting, please consider submitting that paper for
consideration in a special ‎issue of the journal Information, Communication
& Society (iCS, published by Taylor & Francis).

The co-editors of this special issue, Jessie Daniels, Apryl Williams and
Shantel Buggs, welcome papers that focus on any facet of digital media
technologies, communication, information, or related topics.

The journal iCS allows for “green” open access at no cost to authors. This
means that authors can archive the pre-print version of their work on their
own website or on a repository. For more about iCS copyright policies,
see their
entry at the SHERPA/RoMEO

 database.

Please submit manuscripts for consideration through ScholarOne, available
at: http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/rics
<https://mail.hunter.cuny.edu/owa/redir.aspx?C=cdARTPmkDPmWjjGKBVBiot905MCUNyS5qGinu1iYAqL3i3bqI_3TCA..&URL=http%3a%2f%2fmc.manuscriptcentral.com%2frics>.
If you do not have an account, you will need to create one. Also, be sure
to check the box for “Special Issue” and indicate “CITAMS” in it, so that
it will be routed appropriately.

While no formatting or word limits are in place for the initial review, all
accepted manuscripts must respect a word limit of 6,000-8,000 words
(depending on the number of submissions accepted) and conform to the
‎journal's submission guidelines. For guidelines, see
