Hi Becky,

Have you come across this recent Data & Society report? It focuses on
online abuse, but does give information on the prevalence of abuse in the
US:

Chrissy Cook, from Tilburg University, presented some on-going work on
trolling, based on interviews with trolls. I don't think it's available
online, but here is her presentation title:
