​Much respect to all those posting academic works,

​Anecdotally I'd like to say that I am dumbfounded by the shortsightedness
of Yahoo in 1) shutting down Yahoo Clubs - which were, to my mind, the
first really successful social network, way ahead of the rest - and, then,
in turn, letting eGroups wither on the vine.
