Hi All

I spent two years on the AOIR book awards committee and I think it is one of the most interesting and rewarding services to the organisation and the profession that one can participate in. Plus, FREE BOOKS!

Subject: [Air-L] seeking a volunteer for the AoIR Nancy Baym book award

Hi all!

I am on the hunt for 1 more person to serve on the AoIR Nancy Baym book award committee for 2017. Eugenia Siapera has kindly agreed to chair the committee, and Nancy Baym will be serving as a committee member. We are looking for a person who is a) currently a member of AoIR, b) has written a book, and c) who is willing to review 10-15 books between April 15 and early June and deliberate on which should receive the award.

The revised award criteria are here: https://aoir.org/awards/nancy-baym-annual-book-award/.

If you're interested send a note to me: jstromer at syr.edu<mailto:jstromer at syr.edu>.

Cheers,
~Jenny
