The Societal Computing PhD program in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University is looking for great students. 

Our program is designed for students with a strong technical background and interest, but who are not satisfied with just more technical education alone.

We’re looking for students who want to use their technical skills to help address societal problems.
