Western Sydney University is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Cyber Security and Behaviour.

The School of Social Sciences and Psychology along with the School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics have developed an interdisciplinary research and educational program in Cyber Security and Behaviour and are seeking an academic in any field related to cyber security and behaviour such as Psychology fields (particularly those in cyber psychology, organisational psychology, cyber safety etc.), relevant computer science fields, or relevant social science fields.

The successful applicant will be involved in a range of academic activities including teaching in the Cyber Security and Behaviour program. The Lecturer will be expected to conduct research and supervise, where appropriate, undergraduate (Honours) and postgraduate (Masters and PhD) students in their area of expertise. The Lecturer will work closely with research and teaching staff in the School and will be encouraged to develop collaborations with units across the wider University.

The Lecturer will be located at our vibrant Parramatta campus and will work closely with other researchers in building publications, undertaking research, and submitting grant applications in the area of cyber security and behaviour while being a substantial contributor to curriculum design and teaching delivery of the new Bachelor of Cyber Security and Behaviour.

This is a full-time, ongoing position based at our Parramatta campus

Remuneration package - Academic Level B - $115,647 to $136,463 p.a. (comprising Salary $97,723 to $115,393 p.a., plus 17% Superannuation, plus Leave Loading)
