Dear all,

The Department of Information Studies, University of Copenhagen, Denmark, invites applications for a 3-year fully funded PhD scholarship in privacy data practices. The candidate is expected to begin on January 1, 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The successful candidate will become a member of the research project "'Don't Take it Personal'- Privacy and information in an algorithmic age", funded by Independent Research Fund Denmark. Please see the project website for more information about the project: http://donttakeitpersonal.net/. Applicants are requested to situate their proposed PhD project both within the research project's overall research question, and within one or more of the following work packages: II (Privacy), III (Users), IV (Platform providers). It is expected that the candidate will formulate an independent PhD project that contributes the "Don't Take it Personal" project's goals and aims.
