The below free conference, also live streaming on the day, maybe of interest to the list:
This one-day conference will present research evidence and recommendations about the use and impact of mobile devices on children's learning and development. It will present outcomes from the mEvaluate project (funded by British Academy) about the impact of mobile maths applications on more than 400 children, 5 and 6 years old across the UK and provide reccommendations about the design of mobile maths applications. It will also present findings about how mobile devices can be used by teachers and parents to support the development of joint attention skills in children with Autism. Whether you are a teacher, parent or researcher, this event will give you valuable insights about how mobile devices should be used with children. The programme of the event will be announced soon. Complementary refreshments and lunch. Lots of opportunities for networking.
