The Department of Communication at the University of Illinois at Chicago invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor, non-tenure track position.
The successful candidate will be expected to complement the department's expertise in communication, culture, and technology research. Clinical faculty also have familiarity in measurements and data analytic procedures in the scientific study of the process of communication. Candidates should hold a doctorate in Communication and show evidence of high-quality teaching in a variety of courses at the undergraduate level, including small and large size courses, with a diverse student body. Previous undergraduate supervision and the ability to be conversant with graduate level students a plus. Clinical faculty in COMM teach five courses over the academic year with the opportunity to engage in departmental service.
