[Air-L] junior research group leaders (postdoc); digitalisation research/here: digital geography; Germany/Bavaria/Erlangen-Nürnberg

Dear All,

the Bavarian Ministry of Science and the Arts is going to fund five new junior research group leaders for young postdocs (requirement: excellent PhD degree, "excellent achievements in research and teaching, based on an excellent publication record (quality and originality), awards and honours, third party funding, collaborations, etc.") to establish an independent research group working on "innovative projects with high practical impact" in the wider field of digitalisation research (see link). Interested candidates have to apply for funding via a university in Bavaria. We at the FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg (the second largest full university in Bavaria with digital transformation as one of the key research topics, an interdisciplinary centre for digital humanities & social sciences and a dynamic Institute of Geography ;-) would be happy to receive statements of interest from potential candidates in digital geography or neighbouring disciplines (asap and not later than May 26!).
