Dear AoIR,

Tickets are still available for our free one day conference on
'Understanding the Social in a Digital Age: An interdisciplinary Conference
on Technology, Media and the Social', on January 8th, 2019, at the
University of East Anglia, Norwich.

This event brigs together a range of perspectives critically examining not
only the meanings of the social in contemporary digital practices across
cultures, but also challenges underlying epistemologies of the social in
research and popular cultures. Papers approach the topic from theoretical,
conceptual, and/or empirical positions.

We are really pleased to share an exciting and critical conference
programme: https://understandingthesocial.com/conference-program/

Professor *Nick Couldry* and Professor *Gina Neff *will be giving keynotes
at the start and close of this event.

*Free tickets available from: edu.support at uea.ac.uk

requirements, access requirements, and preferred pronouns.
