[Air-L] AoIR Elections Coming Up Soon!

Dear AoIR Members,

On 11 March, we will call for nominations for people to run for several positions on the Executive Committee: Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, three Open Seats, and Student Representative. The Vice President term runs for six years - with two as VP, two as President, and two as Past President. All of the other positions are elected for two-year terms. Members of the Executive have their membership fees waived for the duration of their term, and pay a reduced conference registration fee.

To help inspire members to stand as candidates in this election, AoIR has established a nominating committee, but you are perfectly welcome to nominate yourself or others for any of these positions, independent of the committee's encouragement. We welcome any and all candidates, as long as they are current members of AoIR.

So, if you love AoIR, have thoughts about its future, and would like to further nurture and guide our community, please consider running.
