The full, five-track Call for Papers for the 2020 ACM Conference on Fairness, Accountability, and Transparency (FAT* 2020) is now available, with the conference to be held in Barcelona, Spain on January 27–30 2020.
The third annual ACM FAT* Conference brings together researchers and practitioners interested in fairness, accountability, and transparency in socio-technical systems. The previous two conferences had acceptance rates of 25% and attracted attendees from across academia, industry and public policy. FAT* 2020 has 5 submission tracks reflecting its disciplinary diversity, each with a separate call for papers (but same submission conditions and dates).

# Key Dates #
Full paper submission - Aug 22 2019 (pre-register Aug 15)
Notification date - Oct 31 2019
Conference - Jan 27-30 2020
FAT* is timed around other relevant events, after CPDP in Brussels and before AAAI in New York.
Papers (8-10 pages) are double-blind peer reviewed and published in the conference proceedings in the ACM Digital Library. Author for whom a conference venue is not convenient can also opt for non-archival submission, subject to the same review process but only appearing as an abstract in the proceedings.
Please forward this call to other people or groups you think may be interested.

Note: Please note that as announced at ACM FAT* 2019, ACM FAT* will be changing its name this year. Please stay tuned for separate communication about the new name.
