Dear colleagues,

The IEEE Transactions on Learning Technologies (TLT at https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/RecentIssue.jsp?punumber=4620076) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced scholars based in Africa and the Middle East to serve as Associate Editors of the journal.

Candidates for the AE roles must be well-established and reputable scholars with a substantial track record of research publications and citations in learning technologies (e.g., as evidenced by h-index and other relevant metrics). Prior experience serving in an editorial capacity for a peer-reviewed journal will be looked upon favorably, although this is not a requirement. Importantly, because TLT differs from most other educational technology journals in that it straddles the disciplines of computer science and education—as reflected by its inclusion in both the Science Citation Index and Social Science Citation Index—preference will be given to candidates who possess a strong technical background (e.g., qualifications in computer science, computer engineering, or a cognate field) in addition to educational/learning sciences research experience and expertise.

More information, including instuctions on submitting an application, can be found at

Kind regards,

Mark J. W. Lee
