Assistant Professor Position_Digital Media Studies

The Department of Communication at Bellarmine University seeks an
outstanding candidate for assistant professor of digital media studies.
Through this tenure-track position, we seek a critical-cultural digital
media scholar who can teach students about the everyday uses of digital
media in contemporary work (e.g., designing social media campaigns) while
interrogating the larger ramifications of digital culture (e.g., social and
ethical concerns). The position includes teaching at both the undergraduate
level and in our graduate programs (M.A. in Communication, M.S. in Digital
Media).

Candidate must have a Ph.D. in Communication or a related field. Candidates
will be considered if the degree is completed by August 1, 2020. The
ability to teach courses in Communication and Media Ethics, Communication
Theory, and Intercultural Communication is highly desired. Applicants with
experience teaching online are encouraged to apply.

teaching and scholarship abilities and trajectories to date. Supporting
