While asking might have the result you want because someone might help you
to unsubscribe yourself, that is not really the best way to unsubscribe
yourself from a listserv. Instead, you should read the footer, which has
clear instructions on how to unsubscribe yourself. If those instruction
fail for you, please then contact the administrative address for the list
which is ac at aoir.org  according to that page.

The reason that you should not email the whole list, is then your
request goes out to everyone the list.  Generally, unless there is a fault
the link will work.
