Title: Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream - Business Technology Management

Candidates must have a PhD in Information Technology, Information
Systems, Computational Social Sciences, or a related field by the
appointment start date, or shortly thereafter. Candidates must have a
demonstrated record of excellence in teaching and pedagogical inquiry,
and have teaching experience in a degree granting program at both the
undergraduate and graduate program levels that includes lecture
preparation and delivery, development of online material/lectures,
instructing students in hands-on development of technical skills,
pedagogical research and publishing lab preparation and delivery,
innovative assessment methods, and broader curriculum development.
Candidates must also demonstrate a commitment to improving their
pedagogical practices, and an interest in teaching-related scholarly
activities.

Evidence of excellence in teaching and pedagogical inquiry can be
demonstrated through teaching accomplishments, awards and accolades,
presentations at significant conferences, the teaching dossier
submitted as part of the application including a strong teaching
statement, sample syllabi, course materials, and teaching evaluations,
as well as strong letters of reference.

We are looking for candidates whose academic work focuses on the
impacts of recent innovations in information and communications
technologies on businesses and society. We are seeking candidates with
both well-developed technical skill-sets and research and teaching
interests that will complement our existing strengths. The successful
candidate should have a record of teaching and research emphasizing
the connections between information technology, business practice, and
organizational forms. Areas of emphasis include management information
systems, software development, web development, business analytics,
design thinking, cybersecurity, UI design, virtualization, cloud
computing, networking, and computer & information sciences.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

ICCIT focuses on teaching and research excellence in its three
undergraduate programs: Communication, Culture, Information and
Technology, Digital Enterprise Management and Professional Writing and
