Dear colleagues,

Registration is now open for an online workshop on the theme of ‘Disrupting Digital Monolingualism’ on 16th and 17th June 2020 (https://languageacts.org/digital-mediations/event/disrupting-digital-monolingualism/<https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Flanguageacts.org%2Fdigital-mediations%2Fevent%2Fdisrupting-digital-monolingualism%2F&data=01%7C01%7Cpaul.spence%40KCL.AC.UK%7Ca24f8d536fcf4f483ab808d7fd9a8a89%7C8370cf1416f34c16b83c724071654356%7C0&sdata=U6SqG3Smdz7oYTaZzUIOfWcUSWH8Zsz4ysjSV9ENSHw%3D&reserved=0>). This two-day virtual workshop will bring together leading researchers, educators, digital practitioners, language-focused professionals, policy makers and other interested parties to address the challenges of multilingualism in digital spaces and to collectively present new models and solutions. The workshop will combine both conceptual (strategy, policy and theory) and practical perspectives (digital ecosystems, methods and tools with a focus on language). It is hosted by the AHRC-funded ‘Language Acts & Worldmaking’ project with the support of the ‘Cross-Language Dynamics: Reshaping Community’ project.

The workshop will include a combination of lightning talks, demos, posters, panels and a mini-workshop, and we encourage participation on social channels.
