[Air-L] alternatives to closed, secret Facebook groups?

Dear Charles,

so far, I only researched Telegram, never used it for organizing a group
myself. It works different than FB, but maybe could be an option. Fine
grained privacy control, storage for hosting files, simple interface for
all kinds of devices. Bots can help to get a decent comment system.
Sure, it is a bit peculiar.

By the way, I like Slack and Mattermost for organizing working groups,
if you are looking for those purposes.
