The new Australian Research Council funded Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society is hosting a seminar series on Alternative Data Governance // Alternative Data Economies. The series kicks off this week (Friday 9.00am Australian EST / Thursday 7.00pm US ET) with Katharina Pistor (Columbia Law School) and Salomé Viljoen (Cornell Tech and NYU Law) discussing how data governance might better conceptualize what data is and how it works in the data economy.
