Are you a graduate student looking for a theoretical tradition to inspire your own inquiry? Or a university lecturer preparing a course on communication theories or methods? The International Online Workshop ‘Schools of Thought in Communication Studies’ is your place! The Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, with the support of the Association for Communication in Politics (ACOP) is organizing four interactive lectures by leading scholars on the Dominant Paradigm (by Jefferson Pooley, Muhlenberg College, USA), the Chicago School (By Rosa Berganza, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Spain), Cultural Studies (by Deborah Chambers, Newcastle University, UK) and Media Ecology (by Lance Strate, Fordham University, USA).

The workshop will be broadcast live via Zoom every Thursday at 5pm (GMT+1) starting on April 15 and ending on May 6, 2021. Zoom links will be provided upon free registration on the website http://eventos.uc3m.es/go/commtheory2021
