Visiting Professor Position: Library and Information Science Department at
UNC
Greensboro
The Department of Library and Information Science invites applications for
a full-time Visiting
Professor position. This is a non-tenure, nine-month appointment. Visiting
Professors have
assigned responsibilities in teaching. The position will be effective
August 1, 2021 and salary is
commensurate with qualifications.
*Position Summary*
Responsibilities:

   - High caliber online and face-to-face teaching in topics that could
   include Library and Information Science and/or Computer Science
   - Teaching courses in undergraduate and/or graduate courses

*Minimum Qualifications*
The ideal candidate will have:

   - Experience teaching in online environmentsTeaching expertise in
   technology topics
   - Appropriate face-to-face teaching excellence
   - Masters from an American Library Association (ALA) Accredited Program
   or equivalent in
   - field of study

*Preferred Qualifications*

   - Doctorate in Library and Information Science, Computer Science, or
   closely related field

*Tenure Status: *Not on Tenure Track
