Regarding the request for AI literature: Emerging literature in Human-Machine Communication also would be relevant here, including work by Kate Crawford, the AI Now Institute, Gina Neff and Peter Nagy, Meredith Broussard, Kate Mays and James Katz, Patric Spence, and myself, to name a few.
