Dear Air-L,
The Workshops & Symposia chairs for the [ACM Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI) 2022](https://chi2022.acm.org/) are looking for 8-12 jurors to aid in the evaluation of workshop proposals. Jurors will be responsible for reading and evaluating a portion of the proposals and engaging in conversation with the Workshops & Symposia Chairs largely between the first week of October and the first week of December. Please see the CHI Workshops & Symposia site for more details concerning timeline and deadlines for proposal submissions. [More information about CHI 2022 Workshops & Symposia is available here](https://chi2022.acm.org/for-authors/interacting-and-discussing/workshops-and-symposia/).
Jurors will contribute to the CHI community, work with Workshops & Symposium Chairs to develop a generative and inclusive program, and will hold officially named positions on the CHI website.
Workshops Juror is a great opportunity for those who are interested in a less intensive way of contributing to or supporting CHI this year and those who are interested in the community-building and critical conversations of ACM workshops.
Jurors will be selected based on their brief statement and CV. To apply to be a juror for CHI 2022 Workshops & Symposia, please send an email to workshops at chi2022.acm.org with your name, affiliation, 500 words or less detailing your interest in the position, and a current CV.
Deadline for juror application: July 28, 2021
Juror Acceptance: August 15, 2021
Review period begins: Oct 6, 2021
We look forward to building this important year of CHI with you!
Sincerely,
CHI 2022 Workshops & Symposia Organizers
