Dear colleagues,

I am glad to invite you to a free-of-charge webinar on dark 
participation -  the concept by Thorsten Quandt (U of Muenster) that 
unites under one umbrella the participation-linked digital threats. 
The webinar is based on the special issue of 'Media and Communication' 
published in February 2021. The presentations by scholars from four 
leading universities in commuication research located at various parts 
of the world (Oxford Internet Institute, U of Southern California, 
University of Muenster, and St.Petersburg State University) will be 
commented upon by the current President of International Communication 
Association, professor Claes de Vreese (U of Amsterdam).

The webinar will take place on March 16, 10.30 CET.
