I joined counter social as did a number of local city politics people when
it was first announced earlier this year that Musk was going to buy Twitter.

I also joined a Mastodon instance during the IR2022 in Dublin but was using
Twitter as I normally would at the conference. It seemed from Dublin I saw
different servers than I did back in Canada.
