The American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research (AEI) seeks a
highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to coordinate and manage a
research project on policy solutions to online speech regulation. The
project will include working groups co-hosted by other DC think tanks,
commissioned papers, and other multimedia products. The core issue at hand
is the future of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. The ideal
applicant will thus demonstrate a deep understanding of Section 230, the
First Amendment, and the myriad legal and political issues surrounding
online speech.

This is a part-time position, the hourly commitment varying from 2-15 hours
per week. The contractor will report to AEI’s technology policy studies
team, which is housed under the institute’s domestic policy department.
