As someone working in one of the states with difficult political environment, I can tell we are in dire need of someone of quality who is willing to fight with us and protect our students from the severe environment. This conversation made me think of my role as an educator and where I should stand strong. While I respect others' choices including Rod's, I choose to stay here to fight, and welcome future colleagues who will stand for our young generation. Good luck with your search! Stay strong all.

Nothing really wrong with working even for Trump himself. Every experience
is insight into valuable first hand data. Apart from weather, food, I'd be
happy to work anywhere for the experience unless the toxicity has been
validated over and over like it's a really bad environment. Goodluck in
