[Air-L] Will Academic Twitter Exist Under Elon Musk?

Yeah, I agree the Mastodon on-boarding experience leaves something to be
desired. The process of discovering accounts to follow is particularly
baffling. That's why I figured it might be nice to share our handles so we
could start following each other (and snowball from there as we see
retweets... sorry "boosts" of other accounts of interest).

Once you have some people to read and talk to, the experience feels very
much like twitter, so far as I can tell.

In the long term, might be something that could be fixed via engagement
with the codebase....
