The Discourse, Context & Media editorial team are looking for a Social Media Editor to develop, implement and evaluate the journal’s social media presence across a range of platforms. The role would involve working with the team to:

  *   develop a social media strategy with the aim of increasing the journal’s visibility and reach
  *   oversee, plan and create content across selected social media sites, including alerts for new articles, issues, special issues and Editor’s Choice articles
  *   manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts, initiating discussions, and developing the journal’s brand
  *   monitor and analyse engagement and performance, as well as tracking competitor activity, and provide monthly reports for the team.
  *   join the monthly editorial team meetings online.

As the journal’s Social Media Editor you become a member of the editorial team and would be involved in the journal’s development and strategy. In addition you would be listed on the journal masthead as one of the editorial team. This position comes with a modest honorarium, and full access to ScienceDirect and SCOPUS. The typical term of this sort of editorial agreement would be for two years, with options of renewal.
