In this latest episode in my analysis on Jack Teixeira, the Discord Leaker,
I do a deep dive into the ways in which social media specifically
encourages self-interested national security leaks like this and the role
they play in fueling conspiracy theory driven far-right politics. It argues
social media wasn’t just a vector distributing the leak, but may have
escalated Teixeira’s behavior, increasing the leak's impact. I detail
important reforms that are needed to stop this recurring.

(This latest piece also follows my recent article for SpyTalk

critiqued the AI 'insider threat' systems that failed, and revealed that
the US military itself encouraged its young recruits into gaming
communities on an app that's a playground for white nationalist extremists.)
