Hello all,

I’m writing to let you know that we’ve recently launched the Call for Applications<https://www.ssrc.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/CFA-Data-Fluencies-Dissertation-Grants-2024-1.pdf> for the 2024 round of our Data Fluencies Dissertation Research Grant competition<https://www.ssrc.org/programs/data-fluencies/data-fluencies-dissertation-grants/> at the Social Science Research Council. Please share this information with your graduate students, colleagues, and wider networks who might be interested in applying for this grant! We will begin accepting applications through our online portal on November 1, 2023, and the application deadline is January 24, 2024, 11:59 pm EST. We invite proposals from applicants in the social and behavioral sciences, humanities, data sciences, and related fields working on projects that mobilize new knowledge and aim to foster more just and equitable futures in data and technology. This competition is open to PhD candidates who will have achieved ABD status by the start of the grant term (June 1, 2024) and are enrolled at any university in the US or Canada, regardless of citizenship.
