The TikTok Cultures Research Network (TCRN), in collaboration with the Korea Research & Engagement Centre of Western Australia (KRC), are pleased to present TikTok Cultures in Korea. This is a one-day online-only open-access symposium focusing on the multifaceted role of TikTok in Korea, as well as Korean cultures on TikTok, offering a platform for scholars to examine the platform’s diverse impacts on nation, culture, society, and economy.

Alongside a creator keynote, an industry fireside chat, and shortlisted symposium submissions, the event will also feature a TCRN showcase for dialogue opportunities with students of Korean Studies in WA and beyond.
