Play: The Transformative Power of Digital Gaming in a Deeply Mediatized
Society” (Sept 30 – Oct 2, 2024) at the University of Bremen, Germany.

*Sonia Fizek *

“Video Games in Times of Climate Crisis. From Aesthetics to Ethics”

Sonia Fizek is professor in Media and Game Studies at the Cologne Game Lab
at TH Köln – University of Applied Sciences.



*Torill Elvira Mortensen *

“I feel this is right: Epistemic insecurity and transgressive online
culture”

Torill Elvira Mortensen is professor at Nord University, Bodø, Norway.



*Vít Šisler *

“Video Gaming and Education” (preliminary title)

Vít Šisler is associate professor of New Media Studies at Charles
University’s Faculty of Arts’ Institute of Information Studies and
Librarianship.
