Hi everyone,

I'm excited to share the CFP for a Special Issue on international digital SW. For more info see:

* Excuse the self-censorship, I just don’t want this email to end up in your spam *

We’re inviting abstract submissions for a special issue of P*rn Studies focusing on Digital Only S*x Work. The aim of this special issue is to bring together contributions from a range of cultures and locations on digital-only SW. In this special issue we hope to explore how SW takes place on the internet, but importantly also from various places around the world.

If you are interested please submit a 500 word abstract here by December 1st: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScOsk8Ya6iqx3K3nFRRft-IB7ptZ6QG2ovrx1liyvwb-hsC3A/viewform

Our goals with this special issue:
•     Expand understanding of the organisation and regulation of digital SW globally.
•     Highlight activism and resistance against online harms.
•     Engage critically with labour dynamics in this space.

Key topics include but are not limited to:
•     The social, economic and political dynamics of online SW.
•     Community formation among online SWers.
•     Innovative resistance strategies against state and corporate coercion.
•     The impact of legal frameworks on online sex work globally.

We welcome submissions for traditional articles, but also encourage submissions in alternative formats, such as interviews. If you are unsure of how your work fits with the special issue or how you want to present it, please feel free to reach out to the editors to discuss:
