Social and Organizational Informatics
We seek senior scholars (tenured associate or full professor) interested in the complex interactions between the human, social, cultural, political, organizational, economic, and/or technical factors fundamental to the use of information technologies. We invite humanistic and/or empirical approaches using qualitative, quantitative, and/or mixed methods that generate impact for theory and practice.

Human Centered AI
We seek scholars with demonstrated expertise in specific applications of artificial intelligence (AI) that support human goals, needs, and/or values. Candidates with expertise in designing and developing novel techniques such as human-AI collaboration, human-robot interaction, or generative AI to advance knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Climate Informatics/AI
We are interested in candidates who bring interdisciplinary approaches to a broad set of topics in climate research, including (but not limited to): hybrid physics-based and/or data-driven machine learning approaches to climate modeling; multi-scale, multi-fidelity, and/or multi-modal climate modeling; remote sensing; AI prediction of climate risks and/or adaptation strategies; carbon footprint of AI technologies; game theoretic modeling of actors in climate change; networked systems for incentivizing climate action; behavioral interventions; climate technologies for the developing world; intersections of climate justice and informatics; connected technologies; crowdsourced funding of capital-intensive climate projects; and/or new metrics for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Emphases on other interdisciplinary climate topics not mentioned above are welcome.

Security and Privacy
We seek scholars with expertise in areas such as, but not limited to: the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI), security, and privacy; organizational and human factors of security and privacy including ethics, policy, and data governance; cybercrime, cyberfraud, and digital forensics; the systems aspect of security and privacy; and other emerging topics such as cryptography and quantum computing.
